Shaping the Future of Pregnancy Loss Care Compassionately, Completely, and Clinically
Ten years ago, two midwifery students (Hannah and Hayley) at Vanderbilt, began dreaming about building a kind of care we believed in — slow, intentional, people-first. After a decade working across nearly every corner of reproductive health, we both began to feel the same deep frustration: the care we were providing didn’t match the values we held.
In 2024, we reconnected — both burned out from hospital medicine and exhausted by working in systems that didn’t align with how we believed care should be delivered. We asked ourselves: What part of reproductive health care is so overlooked, so broken, so normalized in its neglect that we might actually make a difference if we tried?
The answer was clear — Miscarriage and Pregnancy loss Care.
It’s been treated poorly — or not at all — for generations. We knew it was time for something better. So we built it. Welcome to Lune Health.

Our team is made up of experienced clinicians, leaders, and change makers — all personally driven to transform how pregnancy loss is supported. We’ve worked in hospitals, birth centers, clinics, and community health centers. We’ve treated patients through birth, loss, healing, and everything in between.
